MIRABEL POV. I stood on the balcony, champagne flute in hand, watching the fireworks light up the night sky. The explosions of color were beautiful, but they did little to distract me from the mess that had unfolded tonight. After Vivian’s little “moment of fame” and the Luna’s dramatic exit to her chambers, the dinner party had fizzled out faster than a sparkler in the rain. Honestly, I should’ve been used to these kinds of nights by now. Drama and I? We go way back.
