"Drink," he says. He's brought two mugs of steaming cocoa over. He's wanted to talk to her for a while, but work has kept him and everyone in the household busy. More often than not, she's asleep by the time he returns and he doesn't want to wake her. "Sorry," she murmurs, settling in the seat. She glances around the room, desperately looking for something else to do, somewhere to escape to. He sighs. "Would you be more comfortable in front of the fireplace?" he asks, remembering his first time in her room with the artificial light.
