" Holy Light!"
Kagome cast her spell and the light came back.
" Agrh! * panting* That stings! *panting*"
I whined.
" We're losing him!"
" I can't anymore. * panting* Shin! After him! *panting*"
I stopped running and lean on the side of the tunnel panting like crazy as my legs throbs in pain underneath me and slowly collapses to the ground. I lay on my stomach with my arms and legs stretched out as I try to catch my breath.
" Shin? Hikaru!"
Kagome calls out to them as she gets off me.
" Oi! Shin! Quit your tail wagging and get your bum in full gear!"
I shout without even bothering to look behind.
I was exhausted and didn't feel like moving at all.
