568 Words
As Akira led me back to the pack, I couldn't help but notice the blood staining his chest. "Akira, you're bleeding!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with concern. Akira glanced down at his wound and shrugged. "It'll heal," he said nonchalantly. "I'll be fine." But I saw the flicker of pain in his eyes, and I knew he was suffering. I could see the tension in his body, the way he was struggling to keep his pace steady. I knew he was losing a lot of blood, and I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. "Akira, please, let me help you," I said, my voice firm but gentle. Akira shook his head. "I'll be okay, Really." But I didn't listen. I helped him sit down under a nearby tree and rushed off to find some herbs to treat his wound. Akira watched her go, his eyes filled with a mix of gratitude and frustration. So this was how pain felt like, he had never felt pain before, and he didn't know how to deal with it. All he knew was that it hurt, and he wanted it to stop. When I returned with the herbs, Akira was surprised. "How did you know about these?" he asked, his voice laced with pain. my eyes clouded over, and I hesitated before answering. "I used them on someone before," I said quietly. Akira's curiosity was piqued, but he didn't press the issue. He was too busy trying to deal with the pain that was threatening to overwhelm him. He gritted his teeth and let her tend to his wound, her gentle touch a balm to his battered body. As she worked, Akira couldn't help but think about how strange this felt. He was a wolf, a creature of the wild, and yet he was helpless against this pain. He had never felt so vulnerable in his life. As I finished treating Akira's wound, I sat back and examined my handiwork. Akira's eyes were closed, his chest rising and falling with slow, deep breaths. I could see the tension in his body beginning to ease, the pain slowly receding from his face. I noticed a strange, purple light glowing in his chest. I hesitated for a moment, then reached out and traced the light with mh finger, following the path of the glow. Akira's eyes flickered open, and he gazed at me with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. He grasped my hand, slowly removing it from his chest, and muttered a soft "thanks." Then, with a subtle wince, he stood up, his movements fluid and graceful despite the pain he was clearly trying to hide. "We should get back to the pack," he said, his voice firm and authoritative. I nodded, my eyes still fixed on his chest, where the purple light still glowed faintly. I wondered what it meant, but Akira's expression told me that now wasn't the time to ask. As we walked, Akira struggled to maintain his alpha stride, his eyes fixed on the path ahead. I could see the tension in his body, the way he was fighting to hide his weakness. I felt a surge of admiration for his strength and courage, and my heart went out to him. I followed him in silence, my eyes fixed on his back, as we made our way through the forest, the purple light fading into the distance.
