Re-living The Apocalypse

The weak are always trampled on.......

In the laboratory full of equipment, with the strong iron walls like a metal fortress, Andromeda laid on the bed silently, arms and legs held by metal restraints. Her youthful face motionless, as she let the warehouse physician inject her with a newly developed drug.

Piercing, tearing pain washed over her as her young body throbbed. The others who where originally standing by showed their excitement . " Hurry!.....Hurry!.....She moved!!......There was a reaction, increase the dosage. The pain that came from her body had completely overwhelmed her body. She struggled to scream her lungs out, but no matter how she tried to move any part of her body all she felt was pain that spread all over her body _ She felt extremely frustrated ' first Orion now here '. Blinking once more Andromeda went blank. Her eyes looked around this familiar yet very unfamiliar place . This metal confinement had been her favorite. With the bright, shining sunlight forcing it's way through the small hole by the left side of the roof and Mira's smiling face staring back at her. It was just like her usual life before the apocalypse .

Lifting up her stiff arms, she looked at her fair white skin as fair as snow and her milky white fingers as refreshing as jade. There were no scars and burns or cuts caused from killing zombies endlessly or a robotic arm. Is this a dream ? Andromeda thought dimly. Where is Orion, the system and my space she thought as she stared blankly at the room walls . Now Mira was starting to get worried as she continued to stare at andromeda who was too busy moping at the walls to notice her. " Andromeda are you okay..........you...... you had a severe case of electric shock when you tried to jump over the walls of district four_ or don't you remember ?". what Mira said was enough to put andromeda in plain confusion _ was there even a district four ? . Maybe this is just one of her imaginations. Slowly lifting of her body, the pain in her head painfully throbbed . Andromeda suddenly stiffened . She could never forget the day that she tried to escape from district four . Harshly slamming herself, she looked around , sure enough on the headboard was her communication watch . Fighting strongly against the pains on her bones, She shakily climbed to the bed . Picking up her communication watch , she saw today was .....!!??

2021 July 31st

" Pa " The communication watch fell on the alloy floor . Andromeda went limp, her body kneeling limp on the bed . Now Mira was very confused _ why is Andromeda behaving like she saw a ghost ? ....... She stood up to call physician and other orphans in the armory _ if she was sure of one thing, andromeda must have gone full blown ' schizophrenic 'due to the electric shock .

Andromeda was too shocked and lost to notice Mira leaving . Suddenly she began laughing quietly, then louder and louder till tears came out of her eyes . Then she cried,and cried and endlessly whimpering. although it hurt her when she cried she couldn't just stop crying . Her whimpering was silent , but it was enough to shake the room, as if she was trying to wash away the years of those grievances, suffering, horror and fear_ but all this still pointed to one thing she still hated president Fox . Her undying resentment had only increased .

Mira the physician and the other orphans in the work house just witnessed the whole episode, so they concluded Mira's diagnosis might have been correct .

Andromeda checked her physic Energy instantly with a thought . It was still in beginners rank ? It was fine at least what most of this people don't know was that she was a physic warrior . Holding back the loss within her heart . She regained her serene behaviour. After all she was lucky to be transmigrated . She couldn't wish for more. It was 07/31/2020 , a full year before the apocalypse she still had a lot of time to prepare . Andromeda had complex feelings towards Mira . And it was not just because Mira died for her, she had always been very close and overprotective of Mira even before the apocalypse begun . But one thing she could answer clearly if people asks her why she wanted to survive in this apocalypse . It was to save Mira and repay her for all her endeavors . The knot in her heart could not be untied especially with the subsequent happenings, Mira's feelings became the most important thing in her life . She looked around the room for Mira. she saw her standing with the old physician and the other orphans, she the held her grip tight on the wall and hoisted herself upwards she then walked next to Mira and grabbed her into a heart _ warming hug . The longing in her heart caused an ache that penetrated deeply to her lungs, that suffocated her till she found it very hard to breathe . She longed this kind of feeling .......

Andromeda had rested for two days and have now been treated fully she now felt better than before and she could even run round the whole Armory . She was alone in her metal confinement when she decided to start planning her survival in the Apocalypse . In her last life after the first two weeks of the Apocalypse she found out her father was the prime minister the right hand man of president Fox 'Orlando Hawke' . So if there is a way to escape the Apocalypse she must run to the main city . She got up from the bed and opened her hand made ' safe '. She slowly opened the box she then unsheated the 10 centimeters ghost blade as well as the antique jade necklace , This was the only evidence of her beign the prime Minister's daughter _ So, therefore this was her only ticket to the main city .

Then another thought ran through her mind, To get to the main capital she needs to be stronger. She called in her last life she wasn't aware of her physic Energy so she left it untrained till she figured out about in her last life ................
