Chapter Five

Rufus looked up at the same time Audrey ushered the blonde girl in. It took everything in him not to lick his lips. The beauty queen that just entered his office was a sight to behold. Attractive is an understanding of the century.

He was brought out of his reverie when he heard the door close, Audrey had left them alone so they could discuss privately. On another day he would agree with her, but today he thinks they'll need a chaperone because his thoughts are not honorable at the moment.

His huge mahogany desk covered his sizable arousal. His expensive Brioni pants feel too tight all of a sudden.

'Good morning Mr Tribbiani, thank you for seeing me' oh he would love to see her in even less clothing, with her hair loose and free on his pillow. Not that what she had on presently toned down the s*x appeal.

'Good morning, please call me Festus' he stood on his feet to shake her hands and adjust his pants. 'Please take a seat.' he said, gesturing towards one of the chairs. When he would have preferred she sat on his lap.

Opening her bag, she brought two files and started talking about the restaurant. From what he could gather, she had a degree in Economics from UCLA and another degree in Culinary from a catering academy. Beauty and Brain

He loved her presentation, she knows what she wants and she seems to be a goal-getter. He also enjoyed her company so much that he was sad to let her go, she just proved his notionthat blonds are bin is wrong.

'I love the presentation, I'll speak with my lawyers and draw up an agreement.' he said, 'I'll get in touch with you.'

Hannah was a bit sad to go. No picture had done Festus Tribbiani any justice. He was tall and sexy, and she had to keep reminding herself that he was a playboy and an unrepentant heartbreaker.

When he shook her hands the second time, she knew he was going to invade her dreams for a very long time.

Letting herself out, she was accosted by Audrey. 'How did it go?' she asked eagerly. Hannah didn't have the heart to tease her as she planned, 'it went well' she told Audrey 'he'll be speaking with his lawyers' she finished.

Audrey let out a shout of excitement and hugged her friend. "We should celebrate, let's get together for dinner. ' she said as Hannah stepped into the elevator 'I'll call Toby immediately and I'll text you will details'

Throughout the elevator ride, reality finally hit Hannah. She just saved her family restaurant, she knows her father will be proud of her. 'Bye Kimberly' she waved at the receptionist.

Selina Davies is a supermodel, her whole life she's been shoved into the limelight. Being a daughter to a beauty queen mother, her father had been her mother's agent. They had gotten together one night and her mother found out she was pregnant.

Her father Arthur had wanted nothing to do with the pregnancy but Phoebe Davies decided to keep the pregnancy, the decision cost her a lot. Then, pregnancy was a bad thing in the beauty industry. Her pregnancy got her ostracized by her friends in the industry, so when she had Selina and realized it was a baby girl she decided to relive her days through her daughter.

Selina was spoiled from birth, she got anything she wanted. And from the moment she could fit in a tutu, her mother threw her into the cutthroat business that is the fashion industry.

Her dressing, and feeding everything had become regimented. Even her friends were thoroughly screened and investigated by her mum, and by the time she was thirteen, she became a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton when they inaugurated the teenage arm of their swimsuit.

She never went to a regular school, her mum had tutors swarming around their house who homeschooled her so that she could concentrate on her modeling. This was Selina's life until she turned 21 when her mum finally married Robert Levestin; they met when Phoebe took her daughter to a fashion festival in Paris. Robert was the CEO of a fashion brand in France, and Selina had been able to convince her drunk-in-love mother that she was old enough to stay alone in their San Jose mansion.

Selina tasted a sense of freedom for the first time in her life and she enjoyed herself. Threw a lot of house parties and made new friends that were not investigated or screened. She still kept up with modeling gigs and brand parties.

It was through a brand party that she met Festus for the first time, he had come looking to branch out into the fashion industry and she wasted no time in making the billionaire fall for her.

Selina reached for her wine glass and sipped, Festus was hers and she knows he'll come back to her. The whole playboy thing is fine, as long as they both don't get caught.

It was a dumb move for her to get caught, but she wouldn't dwell, Festus is hers and she'll get him. Her inside person just told her no serious person in sight meaning Festus hadn't gotten over her yet. There's still hope for them

Hannah looked at her father's closet, wondering what to do with the clothes. Maybe she'll ship them to an international charity organization. She intends to move to a smaller apartment closer to the restaurant as soon as things go well.

It's been a whole week and she hadn't heard from Festus, Audrey assured her the lawyers are working on it but she just finds it difficult to be patient. She then decided to start working on cleaning out her father's closet to while away the time.

She was sorting her father's shoes, when she got a ping on her phone for a text. When she opened it she saw that it was from Audrey. It read:

Just finished from a meeting with the lawyers, you'll get a call soon. You are in, they love you.

Hannah was so happy, she burst into tears. She'll be doing what she wants and be making her daddy proud.

Her phone rang and without checking the caller she answered 'Hello' she knew sounded excited 'Am I on to Hannah Whitaker?' a strange voice asked 'Yes, this is she'.

' I am calling from Sardinia Bank' the voice said 'I just called to inform you that the loan taken out against your restaurant has been cleared and we would like to know what day would be convenient for you to come around and collect the documents to that effect' the voice finished expectantly.

Hannah gave them a day and time, but it was all mechanical. She was shocked and happy at the same time. When she finally dropped the call she screamed so high her neighbor's dog yelped.
