“How’s it going anyway?”
“Pretty good. I think. I’m following the instructions and the side dishes looks alright.”
“It looks good. Where can I help?”
“Could you start mincing those tomatoes and onions over there?”
“Sure thing. What else.”
“Mhh. Maybe cut the meat into strips once you’re done with that. We’re baking something as well.”
“Nice. By the way, how’s your project coming along?”
“Ah that school crap? Going pretty good. Mom made sure I wouldn’t forget it. You won’t believe how many times she texted me when I didn’t do it the same day I was given it.”
“When’s the due date?”
“Sometimes next week. Not sure exactly. Ah before I forget, how did you parents react when you told them about your suspension?”
