After school, Fae decided we should stop by the new shop in town.
Given that we had time in our hands, we agreed.
Fae offered to treat us anyway. And I can’t say no to food.
She orders two sets of nachos, one pizza and frappes. Our choice of flavor.
“Did you hear? We’re getting a new teacher next week.” She brings the news to the table just like that. “Apparently Mr Jones quit since he was offered a job overseas. Bummer. I kinda liked his way of teaching.”
“Isn’t he the teacher who only ever shares his life story?“ Cai points out and Fae nods.
“Yeah that one. Although I’m surprised you need me to confirm that. We have the same teachers.”
