School hallway. The sounds of young teens. The familiar smell of cafeteria food entering my nostrils. I can see faces filled with laughters. I think I’m having a flashback back when I was in middle school. “Hey! You’re only crying cause your parents didn’t teach you how to stand up for yourself!” Amidst the massive cafeteria, I can see a younger version of myself. The younger version who I’ve come to despise so much. While I bring laugher of amusement to others, I’m also over there making another life miserable. My body cringes when I see myself grabbing a water bottle, pouring it all over the person who’s on their knees. They’re covered in their own food. “What? You crying now? Guys. Stop laughing.
