"What time did you guys arrive?" Dylan pushes on, disregarding the fact that Fae ignored him. He edged closer until he’s at least at conversation length. Now that he’s close, I can see the silver lining complimenting his ears. He's now looking at me as he asks that but it's a question meant for the both of us. Fae can’t speak since her mouth’s occupied. She’s giving me some side glances though. As if to say that I should answer him. "About thirty minutes ago. Great party. And um. Great food." I say, referring to the girl devouring everything on her plate. She could be stress eating right now. I remind Fae to slow down with a side glance in case she ends up choking from her own action.
