Fae was on the phone, talking to someone.
“How is she feeling right now?”
“Still has a high fever. There’s a doctor on their way though. Also, I don’t think it’s a good idea to travel tonight. It looks like it’s about to rain.”
She’s on the phone with Kaye’s parents who are currently overseas in a business trip.
Fae sighs as she stares at Kaye from a distance. Whenever she’s sick, it’s always a bad thing.
Kaye has had multiple trips to the hospital as a child due to her health. It’s like her immune system fails to fight off any infectious or bacteria within her body.
So whenever she’s sick, it’s risky.
Fae has had to witness such a thing multiple time. She thought she was starting to get okay. She really did.
