To be completely honest, I didn’t think he’d actually do it. He looks at me expectantly and then tilts his head to the side when I don’t move an inch. “Oh right. Here.” I slide away from the chair and Cai takes over. For some reason, I don’t feel good. My gaze scans the room I’m in, passing through guitars and other instruments present. Then I hear him play. And he’s good at it. Like really good. I watch as his finger flow through the keys, lost in the melody. When Cai finishes, he turns his head and looks at me. “Im a little rusty since it’s been a while since I’ve last played a piano.” I raise one eyebrow. “Rusty? You’re lying.
