Outside, an unearthly howl emerged from the barn. Everyone in the field — from pack members of the Moonblade to the survivors who stayed — either shuddered, puked, peed, cried, collapsed, or fell unconscious. The stronger they were, the lesser the effect had been… except none of them, of course, were spared from jerking tears.
After all, who wouldn’t, when unknown to them, the terror known as Omicron had been awakened?
Thousands of miles away, in another country, the Gamma Twins could not help but clench their teeth as they felt the reverberating echoes of their Alpha’s growl that shuddered throughout the pack link.
In a span of more than a month, the pack had felt their Alpha’s rage.
This time, however, it seemed to have been mixed with something else.
