The announcement initially gave a shock to everyone in the training group. I don’t know if it was because the record had been broken, or because, according to my teammates, the quickness of the mission was so absurd that even the last record that we broke * His Highness’ * was leagues behind, at about 30 minutes away.
I was more surprised by the game-like announcement, however. I mean… my Paul Cook part of me, especially. I recall a similar announcer’s voice in my past life; I used to play video games and online games of various genres. It was even from among these games where I got the idea that there had been a “back door” not only in the map, but an even quicker entrance from the other side of the mountain.
