It had been a few hours since I scooped the she-wolf out of the lake and carried her onboard my SUV.
That’s right — I personally carried her, onboard the SUV, made sure she was close to me so I could get her warm, and when we arrived, took her up into the house. Why should I let anyone else touch her? She’s MINE, even if f she is unconscious. It’s only right I get to decide who takes care of her.
The she-wolf now lays asleep on the bed within our safe house, in one of the innermost rooms adjoining mine, the master’s bedroom. An hour has passed since I carried us together in this room, and asked a couple of our female pack Omegas to get her washed, dressed, and tucked in bed.
