CHAPTER 3

After Chris went office, I was alone and the kids not arrived yet. so I worked on my personal things, I am writing a book on baking, as I love to Cook and I am a professional Baker so. 

After some time I heard a noise, and I guess it's kids. so I go near the elevator to welcome them as this is my first day as their nanny. I was standing with my open arms to give them a perfect welcome, as Chris said, they missed their mom. this is not like their mom, but I could do my jobs in my ways.

The elevator falls open Micheal was with them to drop them at the suite. I said, “Welcome to the Jurassic park boys........” Noah smiles, Jason jumped from the elevator, and said, “I am grown up siya, you can't trick me”

“Well, Jason you are unknown of the fact that before some great years ago, it was one of the dinosaur's houses” I winked at Micheal and he raised his eyebrows in response.

Noah beamed, “You were waiting for us, to welcome? ”

Oh my god! that boy is pure love. He is cute as their father and has a lovely baby voice. Noah smiles and his little gapped teeth are on the view! which is really cute.

I said, “Yeah Noah, after all, we are friends” I turn to Jason, “Right Jason? will you guys make me your friend?”

Jason said, “I will but, you have to convince dad for taking us to dinner tomorrow” He and Noah did High fives. 

I said, “Yes I will think about it!” and then I bent down to match their height and said, “Do you guys are hungry?”

“I am starving.....” They both yelled together.

“what you want to eat? choose an easy one”

“I like pineapple cakes,” Jason said;

“No, let's make chocolate pie...” Noah beamed;

So I decided something and put my hands on my forehead and said, “Okay what if we make pineapple-chocolate-pie”

Jason exclaimed, “Ohh that sounds, like an experiment” he threw his school bag into the couch and said, “Can I look into that, while you cook? I love to do weird experiments.”

I said, “You both can join me if you want, we can make together.....”

I teach them to step by step and, Both boys worked really quiet, and calmly. I made a round big pie and Noah and Jason made little pies. which was of rectangular-triangular, kind of shape but it was still their first dish.

they both can't stop looking at the oven during the pie was in the microwave. They take their first bite of pie and Jason giggled, “I will tell dad, he couldn't believe this! I am a cook!” Then Noah said, “I love this pie so much, can we make this tomorrow, again?”

I give two thumbs up and tell, “We can make something new every day! but right now you two have to revise what you've learned today, and then you're going to sleep”

“Okay...”Jason said and then they both go.

 It was very late and Chris has not arrived yet. both kids fall to sleep after I helped them with homework.

So I was sitting near the kitchen island and turn my head down to the island as I am tired. And then someone put a hand on my shoulder and I jerked up. It was Chris, my eyes were sleepy. I Stand up. My heart is pounding so badly as he suddenly came. and my chest was visibly beating. I exhale putting my hand on my chest. That seak his attention. So I feel his presence all over me.

 He clenched his teeth and said, “Didn't mean to scare you”

 I spoke, “Oh it's okay” breathing heavily.

 “I am sorry for this late, I had to come earlier,  to make kid behave good, do they act troublesome?” he asked;

 “Well, not at all! we were a good company, we make some pie” I chimed,

He smirked, “Don't praise that much!” he put his hand on my shoulder, “But I am impressed as you handled them nicely plus you make them help you”

 “Well, they are not as wild as you said, how's your day so far?” I asked 

 He looked at me for more than half a minute, I asked, “Are you okay?”

 He smirked, putting his hand in his hair, “Well I get this question after a long time”

I understand, how difficult it is to grow children without a partner. Coming home and being tired and find no one as a companion, whom he can tell his feelings.

I smirked, “You can tell me anything”

“Thanks, but I like to eat your pie first!”

I glanced into the kitchen and warm up the pie into the oven for him.

He takes his leather jacket off and unbuttoned the upper three buttons of the shirts. I can see the tonnes skin of his chest the muscled up neck whenever he swallows, A small tattoo on his neck. he runs his fingers in his hair and cleans the air between us. As I served the pie, into his plate.

He took one bite and closed his eyes and moaned, “Ummm this is great....” He opens his eyes and finds me looking at him curiously. He said, “This is juicy... and sweet and crunchy...You're a master”

“Now don't praise me that much! but Thank you ” I said putting my hands around my cheeks, as I am flushing red, by his words.

He looked at my cheeks, and for a moment I feel like I am burning under his gaze. He cleared his throat and, I come back from my fantasies.

Then I explained to him everything that happened today, From boys came, how we make the pie, what homework I helped them...etc.

By the time dinner is over, he offered to drink with him for a little bit of time. So we go on the rooftop of the house, The summer winds are getting colder at night. And for me, I am with a hot unbuttoned man who is capable of make me warm.

I crossed my arms to the chest as I am feeling kinda cold. then he said, “Come here” He was standing on the very top corner of the house and I am not able to reach that upon the railing. So I Goes, “But it's high...”

He gives his hand, offering to take it. so I take his hand and, he pulled me up, but I shifted at him as I lose my balance. And he wraps me in his arms. His both arms are resting on my waist and I am standing on the railing of the rooftop.

 My hands are resting on his chest. The first time I touch his bare skin, and I can feel his heart is beating fast. Our faces were a few inches away. And he smiled, “Don't leave me!” 

 I asked, “What....?”

 “Or you will fell from here, What else silly!”

 Oh he just talking about grabbing his hand, and here I am making a castle in the air. I Pressed my both lips and slowly move from him to grip the railing. Once I found it, he put his hands on both sides of the railing and I am I'm middle of him. safe.

 He smirked, “Look at the city... it is my favorite place to come”

I take a look from there. and it was awesome, the view is unbelievable. City lights are looking like stars and behind them, the Ocean is shining from the moonlight.

I glanced, “Spectacular..”

He said, “Whenever I fell tired from my life I come here and find myself in the middle of this big city, make me feel relaxed”

I speak up, “Like we are not only one who is going through hard, everyone is dealing with something, we are not alone in this”

He whispered, “Right”

I mumble, “This is life”

He surprised and said, “When my manager told me you are just 22 years old, I thought you will be like any normal adult, busy in party, drinks, and boyfriends, But I am feeling you're more than that.. deeper”

I swallow hard and blood from my ears faster. What else he thinks about me. What more than that can I get to know?

I said, “Sometimes you have to let go of some outer enjoyments, to find your inner peace” His. the head was resting near my shoulder and I add, “Besides I never said, I don't like parties and drinks..”

He chuckled, “Then don't worry I will take you with me”

Then he helped me to get back on the floor. We go down to the suite together. When we reach my room I turn and rest on the door, my back was facing the door, and I put both hands on my back, I said, “Hey, One more thing!”

He takes his step towards me, he studied me top to toe and said, “Yes please”

“Jason asked me this, he wants you to take him and Noah to dinner tomorrow”

He concentrates his eyebrows and making a funny face he said, “Okay then..”

“So, you agree?”

“Yes!”

“Okay, I will keep them ready in the evening,” I said, biting my lower lip in the smile.

He said, “But, you have to come with us”

“Me?”

“yep”

“No it's your family time, I should have stayed at home,” I said;

“I want all three to ready at seven, we all go together, welcome to the family” He winked at me;

my lips parted in a soft gape. I said, “But..”

He put his index finger on my lips and whispered, “Sh.... no more buts okay! we are going together and it's final” I try to speak up but he said, “Good night Siya”

His finger makes my lips vibrate in a light way. I said, hesitating, “Good night Chris”

He looked at me for a second the way I was shivering in his touch, and then he takes his hand back. give me a nod and then he leaves for his room.

I was in deep thinking, about how I can make things work easier. If I couldn't control myself near him, it would be a bad impression. or maybe he has some kind of interest in me. what if he thinks that I am some slut? No way he can't think of me that.

Whatever happens next, 

The ways of the heart can't understand, it wants what it wants.
