The doctor moved the gel around with the wand and on the screen I could see a large black circle. Inside that circle was a smaller white shadowy circle.
The doctor sighed in relief.
“There you have it,” he smiled, “the embryo is still intact”
I could feel the warmth of tears run down my cheeks. I laughed in relief and smiled at the little dot on the screen, wiping away my tears.
“Would you like a picture?”
