Chapter one.

550 Words
This is how it is on a school day. The noise, the talk. THE NOISE. For a start as a newbie, things couldn't be more worse. "Hi. Xup??" Someone raised a hand to shake. "Xup." Mehina walked past, unbothered. Wow. ...Okay. This is my story. ( By the way, My character is not for reading soft. So you should read like I'm talking right now. I'm talking carelessly, by the way. *grin* ) " My name's Mehina. I'm a thousand years old. Hehe. Sixteen. And I'm Paranormal, yeah. " "Para-normal?!" A student screamed in horror. Mehina shut her book and looked at the guy, brows raised. He had this Crespo, curly-kind of-hair. He's Spanish. " yeah?" But...I never showed them that side. Never felt like they should know. And please don't ask if it's been easy hiding it. It's been wonderful. I could be applauded for my great, self-control. I mean, who in the name of being angry turns into a weird limpy creature with bat wings to scare an old woman who can't cross the road quickly when I'm- oops. When people are driving, of course. ..who??! And who makes a caricature of someone , in front of the same person, before grinning wildly like a reptile??Who??! Not me of course!! I don't do it like that–oops. I mean, that's brutal. And I do give my condolences. That aside. " I think I had a family...yes I do. And they are faring fine. I do check on them. I try. *genuine smile.* My life has had series of encounters, most you would LOVE, not to hear. But one person told me that...they are lessons. In order to get to a place, you must accept it's process and criterias to be in it. " I tried my best to believe in that. In fact, I think I failed. *genuine smile.* So, I think this is all you should know about me." -Narrator's pov- Everywhere was quiet. Some students watched Mehina who was still looking into her book. Some laughed. The teacher still stared at Mehina. The book snapped shut. "Um...Mehina, " The teacher cleared her throat. " That wasn't the format for introducing yourself. It said here that–" "I don't follow. Sorry. " Mehina began walking to her seat. " Well I don't accept rude policies, " The teacher snapped. Mehina swayed on her seat, clicking her teeth carelessly. " Any other misconduct on the schools format on behaviour, and character , will be discussed with the principal. And you, for sure, should know what that means." "Oh," Mehina sat up with renewed interest. " No. I could bet I don't. You could share you know? " "Thats it. We are going there." The woman said, gnashing her teeth in anger. Mehina chuckled. Now something's interesting. —Mehina's POV— If I tell you I'm not scared, I'm being a honest liar. My heart is racing. "This way," She says in front of me. I could pull her hair out. She doesn't just know yet. She knocked on the door. Soon she was at the small opening, poking her face to talk with the person at the door. I don't even care. Should I ? The door creaked open, giving many reasons why I should care.
