Chapter 5

When it was over, I started to take him out, we were just in the garden of the hospital and he couldn’t be taken out right outside.

“Crazy for You.” I was stunned again by this man’s answer.

Then he started, as if he forced the handkerchief to stand up and he did after a while he squeezed it and then it turned into candy? The candy like umbrella? That big? Just that one!

“Wow!” At the same time, Thirdy applauded, the boy was happy with the stupidity of what he did.

After a while, he squeezed it again and for a while, he turned his back on us to show that there was no deceit or there was something behind him, then he turned around again, he presented the rainbow cane to us again and placed it behind him.

He counted Thirdy from one to three and later he took his hand out from behind him and the cane was gone.

What the? I looked below him but nothing fell, I looked at him confused. My eyes widened when he took something behind my ear.

It was Rose flower.

“Is great!” He nodded again before giving it to Thirdy.

“I will give it to Nurse Sha,” Thirdy motioned for me to bow, so I bowed and he pressed the rose to my ear.

“You look pretty Nurse Sha!” Thirdy said cheerfully.

“As always.” I turn my gaze on Chaos, amazed at the looks thrown at it.

I don’t know but I averted my eyes.

“Brother watch too!”

“Is that magic?!”

“I wanna watch magic!”

I was surprised at how many kids were around us. I could see in Chaos’s face that he was suddenly nervous.

What are you now?!

I wanted to laugh at his reaction but I remained quiet.

“Yes brother! I want more please!” Thirdy’s request, even the nurses on duty were already around. even though you can’t see Chaos’ face, it’s obvious that they are still thrilled.

“You should go home now.” I said to him.

“Yes.” I answer quickly.

I just stared.

Even though I was reluctant to sit next to him, I sat next to him, the i***t smiled and seemed to be still happy.

“Aren’t you doing anything? Why are you always here Chaos?”

“Because you’re here.” He answered quickly.

“Lame reason.”

“It’s so true.” I feel like it’s just because he’s staring at me, so somehow I’m misunderstood.

“Staring is rude Chaos.”

“But staring at your face is good.” I was beaten again.

“Who said you’re one of my girls?” He said seriously.

“You were the only woman in my life.” He added then suddenly I felt weird inside my chest. Damn!

“You’re out of Chaos.” I said coldly.

“I like you Shaina…” I froze, shaking my head.

“I don’t like you Chaos, so leave now.” I didn’t look at him.

When I felt that he wasn’t moving yet, I went to the door myself and went out, I just went back to Thirdy.

Then I felt a grip on my arms.

Gosh! We’re out and he’s not wearing his hood and his mask! Maybe someone will see him!

“Chaos what! Let me go!” I tried to remove his grip.

I was confused when I heard footsteps but before I could appeal he pulled me to an empty storage room, a dark room.

I saw two nurses pass by.

But I was even more nervous when I leaned against the wall while he was in front of me and our faces were so close to each other.

He was just looking straight at my face. He’s panting while looking on my lips?

I saw his lips pitying as well.

I tried to get away but he was just stronger because of it.

“Chaos what! Let me go!” But he was just looking into my eyes.

“Sha…” His bedroom voice, maybe if another woman hear it they’re shaking but I’m different from everyone else.

“What! Let me go!” I try to break free from him.

“Why are you always pushing me away?” Weak but enough for me to hear.

“I don’t have to explain to you so let me go.”

“Tell me please…”

“Do you want the truth?” I asked boldly, I saw him nod.

“I don’t like you, I don’t like people like you. So if you can just stop me and don’t ever show your face again.” I said hard, I felt he was weakened by what I said so I grabbed this as a chance to get away from him and get out quickly.

“Sister are you alright?” Sherina asked, I’m here now at Aunt Amanda’s house. We are currently in Sherina”s living room while aunt Amanda is cooking.

I just nodded my head.

“You were silent earlier.”

“I’m fine, don’t you have to pay for school?” I will ask.

“There’s no sister aside from our field trip that aunts has already paid for.”

“Why is Auntie paying?”

“She just said she was.” She shrugged her shoulders.

I picked up my phone and texted Alyana that I might come home at night.

“So how was your day Shaina?” Aunt Amanda asked as we were eating.

“It’s okay, aunt.”

“That’s good, you know I was glad when your sister told you to have dinner here. Even though you were hectic in the hospital.” Aunt said happily.

“I always have time for you and Sherina aunt.” I smiled, my aunt told me a lot about Sherina’s grades, I found out that Sherina might be the Valedictorian of their school. That’s why I’m happy, she really comes from school. Auntie even told that Sherina’s lover with different faces often comes here. Like me having a boyfriend is also not Sherina”s priority.

Dinner ended and I was about to leave the house to get in the car when my phone suddenly rang.

It was Chaos.

I took a deep breath but I didn’t answer, it just kept ringing.

It’s almost 10 in the evening, there are so many stories from my aunt so I spent the night.

I shook as I opened my car, the call died but later it rang again.

I let go again and started the engine. The call still did not stop, so I did not act first and disgustedly answered

“Sha…” He said when I answered the call.

Wait, is he drunk?

I remained silent.

“I know you’re there Sha, you answered my call finally!” Then he chuckled. I know he’s drunk, I’m closing my eyes.

“Sha… Do you know I was hurt by what you said earlier?” I bit my lip.

“Fck! It hurts so much! You know the feeling that I’m alive but I feel like when you come I’m dead.”

I don’t answer, I also don’t know myself and I can’t turn off his call.

“I don’t know myself why I keep coming back to you even though you’ve pushed me away a few times.”

I tightened my grip on the steering wheel.

“How many times have you pushed me away but I always found myself coming back from you.”

“I hope I’m just drunk, Sha.” I can feel in his voice how he is hurting now.

I was silent, I had nothing else to say to him.

“Sha… I love you….Chaos that’s right let’s go home!” I heard a man’s voice, as if suppressing Chaos.

“No! I won’t go home Zyle! Give me back my phone damn it!” I heard Chaos.

“Chaos you’re drunk.“Zyle said. I didn’t wait for Chaos to answer and I dropped the call.

I’m not affected.

You’re not affected, Shaina… You’re not!

CHAPTER 4 (I)

“Hey Sha someone is waiting.” I turned to Alyana, she’s holding a rose but I just looked at it and focused again on my book.

By the way, we are here in the open area of the school, there are many benches around here so it’s okay and you can breathe the fresh air.

“Hey gay, get me hooked.” Alyana’s disgusted promise.

“Just throw it away.” I said without looking at her, I saw her eyes widen.

“You’re not asking me who gave and why the hell I put it on a trash?”

“It’s just you.” Then I shrugged my shoulder.

“Your harsh ah! It was from Chaos!”

“I know.”

“You know it, so accept it!” I sighed, I dont know what to do anymore! Why is that man so naughty ?!

I felt him step aside because of sitting down.

“You’re so lucky gurl! Just kidding, you just met her and then she gave me a rose right away!” He loves language. “Also how did you know that it was from him?”

“I just know.” My answer is short, but it”s true. I saw him buy earlier from a boy selling roses, I just guessed it was Chaos but I was right.

“It’s really nasty.” I heard Alyana said, but I just kept reading. We have break time now and our next subject is Earth and Life Science, weird! It has nothing to do with the course I want, but it’s okay.

I was taking a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics strand while Maria Alyana was taking Accountancy and Business Management. We’re both grade 11 students.
