Marcus's POV Fixing my gaze out the window, I took a sip from the glass of wine in my hand. My mind churned with thoughts of the past incident, and I let out a frustrated sigh, raking my fingers through my hair. Just then, I heard Damien's voice pierce through my thoughts. “Alpha Marcus,” he said firmly. I turned sharply towards him, leaning against the wall with my eyes locked on his, waiting for him to continue. “We didn’t find anything,” he muttered, shaking his head.
