Nathan I walked out of the courtroom, adjusting the files in my hand, my mind already shifting to the next case on my docket. It had been a long morning; you know, one of those sessions where attorneys spent more time trying to outmaneuver each other with technicalities than actually arguing their case. For the most part of that morning, I had sat down there just wishing I could be elsewhere, not because I didn’t love doing this or anything, but because I just couldn’t stop thinking back to a certain person who happened to be back in my office.
