Nathan I took a slow breath, steadying my thoughts before I pushed to my feet. “Stay here,” I told Matt, my voice calm but firm. “I’m going to handle the paperwork and get you out of here.” I told him. He gave a small nod, his fingers still twisting at the hem of his hoodie. I could tell he was scared, but he was trying his best not to show it. I wasn't sure how Eleanor would handle this, but I knew it must be one of the reasons Matt was scared.
