I watched as he turned to her before he got to us, and he whispered something into her ears. She smiled and also said something back. I looked at Bella, hoping she didn't notice that or that could just make my efforts go down the drain.
Jackson walked up to us with a smile, then sat with us.
“Hi everyone.”
“Hey, Jackson. "Finally, you're back,” Adrien said, patting him on the back.
“Yes, I am. "Feels good to be back here though, and this outing is just the perfect thing for a start.” Jackson spoke, and chuckled, then he glanced at me.
