“What!” I exclaimed in fear.
I felt twisted knots appear in my stomach and my heart skipped a beat in anxiety, horrified by the news I had just heard.
“How is that possible? You checked everywhere?”
“Yes, Killian. The maids and I searched everywhere, but we couldn't find him. I wanted to get him chocolate or any of his favorite drinks since I was stepping out, so I went to his room to ask him, and didn't see him there. I searched everywhere, Killian.” She broke into tears and that broke me too.
“Drive as fast as you can!” I ordered my driver immediately.
“Yes, sir.” He responded and stepped on it.
“Just stay calm, Samantha. "I'll be home soon,” I assured her.
