My heart was filled with joy that Adrien had successfully been able to assure me that he would always be by my side. It was a different feeling, one I had never felt in my life.
But there was one problem that made everything seem weird, and maybe not promising. He had been busy ever since he assured me, busy with calls and like he was planning something while he was in his study room. Each time I came to check up on him, I could tell how busy he was.
I sat on my bed and sighed, staring out at the crescent moon hopelessly. In fact, I was beginning to consider going back home to Bella. At least, she will keep me company, and maybe I can bury my head in work.
