“Hey, sorry I made you wait,” Bella said as she joined me.
My eyelids fluttered, bringing me back to my reality. But then, it was unsettling to find out that Killian was being nonchalant in his responsibility to take care of Theo.
“Serena?” Bella called my name again.
“Oh! "I'm sorry, I guess I was just lost in my thoughts.” I apologized, trying not to get her worried or asking questions I didn't want to answer.
“Aww… I don't need to ask before I guess who you were thinking about. It's obviously Adrien. Oh, my. "It's so cute.” She spoke, and patted me gently on my back before urging us to keep moving.
I chuckled and shook my head. At least, thankfully, she thought I was fantasizing about Adrien, which I wasn't. It was worrisome, knowing such a kind of thing had happened
