I picked up some files I was to work on as I really needed to get my mind off the scenario that had just played before me. It was really hard to take my mind off it, but the more I bury my head in my work, the easier it is for me to forget what I had just seen.
A knock came on my door and I looked in that direction in curiosity. But before I could speak, the door opened. To my surprise, it was Adrien.
The atmosphere suddenly felt weird, and it became a chore to look into his eyes.
“Good morning.” I greeted him politely without looking into his eyes.
“Why did you leave?” He asked me in a low tone.
