TEN Dawn peeked its morning head through the Venetian blinds at precisely the hour that Hannah had envisioned for the past twenty days. She tilted the clock on the nightstand toward her exhilarated face. “Six-fifteen,” she announced. She put the pillow on her face to shield her from the penetrating rays of the sun.
