EPILOGUE La Petite France Strasbourg July 15, 2016 The aroma of fresh pastries and fresh ground coffee filled the Summer air as a young woman and her child sat at an outdoor table of the Pâtisserie Cygnet Bleu, enjoying the air and smells of the thriving city. The rose colored steeple of the cathedral stretched into the Alsatian blue sky. The traffic was light, allowing the couple to watch the Ile River, flowing softly as it meandered next to their outdoor table. The child had a crayon set. She worked on a picture of a boat tossed by wind and waves. A slender waitress approached, carrying a tray of pastries and a cup of coffee.
