I stepped away and shifted my gaze to something else. "Where is Esmi? I asked just to reduce the silence between us. She didn't bother to look at me, instead she continued to cook. "She has to go home, the weather is not good, there is a typhoon coming. “So I sent her home to her family. She explained then she looked at me. "Are you hungry? I've just started cooking breakfast, I'll make you some coffee first. I didn’t answer and instead I walked into the living room and watched through the brown tempered glass the strong wind slapping the garden. "Looks like I can't get into the office right today. "Here's your coffee!. She put the coffee down on the glass table then went back to the kitchen to continue cooking. I picked up the cup and climbed the stairs back to the second floor. Again I locked myself in my room, good thing that I have my laptop so I have something to do while staying at home. As I was pressing on my laptop, the scenario earlier in the kitchen suddenly flashed back to my mind. "Fu*k! What the hell is happening to me? I shouldn't be affected by such things especially if it's that woman. I put my palm against my head and pressed it. “Fix yourself. I whispered. I sighed. Then I took the glass of coffee and sipped from it. I haven't tasted freshly brewed coffee for a while since I'm sleeping in my office most of the time. A few more minutes passed and the heavy rain finally fell. I looked out the window where the darkness was. It was only eight o'clock in the morning but it seemed to be six o'clock in the evening. Accompanied by a few flashes of lightning thundering in the sky. I got up and walked to the window, I watched from there the heavy rain pouring to the ground. I looked down when the image of someone outside caught my sight. “What is she doing? I saw my wife soaking in the rain running in from the gate outside and carrying something. I decided to leave the room and go down the stairs. I saw traces of water on the floor leading to the kitchen. I walked quietly to the kitchen with my palms in my pockets. I saw her soaking wet in her clothes and unpacking a food container in a paper bag that was now wet from the rain. Finally she noticed me standing behind her not far from where she was standing. "You're still there? She said in shock. My eyes wandered through the scattered pots and pans. She immediately blocked and hid the scattered dishes. "Ah-he he.' I think I still have to practice cooking. The fried rice was burnt and the egg I fried tasted salt., so I just ordered some food. It's good that they were able to deliver this before the storm finally hits heavy. She explained. I don't expect her to be able to do any sensible work though, What does she know? She lives like a princess in Anderson's for sure. "All right, sit down and I'll prepare food for you. I don't want to look rude because I know she made an effort for this food, she even got wet in the rain just for this. So I just sat down. But while she was handling the food, I was bothered seeing how her clothes dripped water on the floor. "I will prepare it myself. I grabbed everything she's handling. "Wait- are you sure? She assured me. "Go upstairs and get dressed, you might get sick, and it becomes my fault, though I don't ask you to do this. “Alright She said in a low voice. I even secretly followed gaze as she walked to the stairs. I immediately let go of my grips when I saw her slip and fall to the floor. I ran over and helped her to sit down. "What ?! Are you stupid? Can't you do anything sensible? "How did you slip here? What are you? A kid? I scolded her as I held her leg which she was holding back in pain. She bit the bottom part of her lip to stop her sobs. “She was definitely hurt. I put her hand on my shoulder and carried her up the stairs to the bedroom. It was obvious from her appearance that she was already writhing in pain but she couldn't cry, maybe she was ashamed of me. I sat him on the side of the bed, I gently touched her foot to see what I had to do. Luckily it looks like she didn't sprain, Just a small wound on her knee from slipping on the stairs. I looked around her room and saw the box of first aid kits placed on the floor next to the door. I picked it up and If I'm not mistaken, this is also what she used to bandage my hand last night. I just sighed as I started to heal her wound. She clings to the bed every time the cotton touches her wound so I tried to be more gentle. After I applied medicine to his wound, the built -in closet was there and opened it then I will look at him again. She shook her head slightly as if wondering why I had opened her closet, then I looked back at the wardrobe. I could smell the rose fragrance from her clothes that were there and it really smells good. "Oh God .. now you smell her clothes. -you're turning into sniffing dog. Seems there's a voice over my head teasing me. I just grabbed a pair of clothes and threw it on her bed. "Change your clothes before you catch a cold. I coldly said and walked out through the door.
