Chapter 9: Seeing Both, Loving One

Cassandra Takahashi Watson’s Pov.

I woke up early because today is Zachary's flight. I hate him leaving me again, but he said it’s for our future, so I have no choice. We finally arrived at the airport.

“I will miss you.” I said, trying to be casual. He faced me and let go of his suitcase. He held my hands. “I will miss you more than a thousand miles. Do you trust me?” He asked. I nodded “You know how much I love you. You are the only girl I love like this f*****g s**t. If only I could stop the spinning of the world, I would just be with you every second. You can call whenever you want. I will not hesitate to answer it, okay?” Tears started to fall on my cheek. He pulled me for a hug. “Don’t cry. I hate seeing you cry. It’s pretty hard for me to leave when you are crying because of me. Please, stop crying.” I looked him in the eye and said, “I am your only baby, right? I’m the only girl you love, right?” He smiled. “Yes, baby. You are the only woman that I want to spend the rest of my day with. I need to go now. I love you.” He gave me a deep kiss before he left. I watched him entering the door.

Someone’s pov.

I ran toward him when I saw him getting out of the door of an airport. I hugged him tight. I gave him a kiss, and he gave a response as well. “I miss you, honey.” He just laughed. “Where should I drop you? Should we go straight to my place first or should I drop you in your apartment?” “Neither. We should eat first, then you will drop me at my apartment. We will see each other tomorrow.”

I drove the car to one of the nearest restaurants and ordered food. We eat continuously while talking about what happens to us when we aren’t together. He laughed when I told him that I punched a guy’s face when he tried to hold my waist. “Good, that’s mine. Mine only.” He said. “It’s all yours, honey.” I assured him and gave him a wink.

I dropped him off at his apartment and went straight to my place. I’m badly in love with him. I changed my clothes and drove again to the club where my friends were waiting for me.

“What took you so long?” They ask. “Oh, I just asked to drop somebody, then I fell asleep until I almost forgot this event,” I explained. “Somebody? Is that your new target?” “Oh, shut up. You know me.” “Yeah, we knew you. I know when you are taking a guy and when you are not.” Instead of answering them, I just grab a bottle of alcohol and gulp it straight.

Zachary Lawson's Pov.

“Does Cassandra know about this, Zack?” Steven asked me after we ate our dinner. “No.” “Why are you doing this to her?” “None of your business, Steven.” “f**k, Zachary. Before, you asked me for advice on how you are going to get her back. You f*****g cried, and you will not put any worth on this? I can’t defend you from this once she finds out about this.” “Shut your f*****g mouth, Steven. My business is my business.” I said frustratingly. “I’m just concerned about Cassandra.” “The f**k is your care for my girlfriend. Don’t tell me you like it.” I gave him a death glare. “I thought you were getting straight now when you had her. But f**k, Zachary. You are hurting her so much and once her brother found out about that.” “As if I give a f*****g damn care. Why can’t you just mind your own business? They are my business. Cassandra and this girl. So, why bother?” I walked outside my apartment and dialed her number.

“Hey.” I said gladly. “Yes, honey?” I heard a loud sound from her background. I can guess that she’s in a club. “Are you in a club?” “Yeah. I am. Why?” “Can you tell me where you are? I need you.” “I’m at the Cruise Club.” “Okay. I’m on my way.”

I got off out of the cab. I saw her standing in front of the door. I walked toward her. “Hey,” she said after she kissed me. “Are you okay?” she asked. “Nah. Let’s get inside.” “Okay. I’m with my friends right now.” “No worries.”

She led me inside to where the crowds were. “Oh, baby girl. Is that your boy?” One of her friends asked. “Shut up.” “Don’t mind them. Do you want to have a drink?” “Yeah, sure.” I followed her as I held her waist.

I’ve been drinking since early. I already drank 5 bottles of alcohol. “Honey, I think you should stop it already. It’s enough. You’ve been drinking since earlier.” Her friend already went home first. “Nah, I’m fine as long as you’re here with me.” I noticed that she was not drinking anymore. She’s just sitting beside me while holding my lap. “Can you tell me what’s happening to you?” She asked eagerly. “Just a friend of mine pissed me off.” “Oh, I see.”

After I drank a lot of bottles of alcohol, she asked me if she should drop him at my apartment, but I refused, so she took me there. She gets water from the kitchen. “You better drink water first.” I got in from her. “Yeah. Thanks.” I put the water on the table after I drank it. I watch as she scrolls on her phone. I grabbed her phone and put it on the table. She glanced at me. “What the hell are you doing?” She asked. “Don’t you miss me?” I asked as I started unbuttoning my suit. “I f*****g miss you.” She said while wearing a fiend smile. “You’re turning me on when you are smiling like that.” I said. I pushed her to bed. She gets up and whispers something to me that makes me hard. “Claim me as I am yours.” I give her an encouraging smile. I lean forward on her as I take off her dress. I let her as I continuously play on my chest. She pushed me away and went out of the room. I get disappointed when she pushes me away. I watch when the door opens, and she's holding a glass of wine. She offered me a glass of wine. I get it from her and gulp for it. I put aside my glass of wine. She’s playfully kissing me, and I am not expecting her to do that. She slowly poured her wine onto my body, and she licked it like an angel. I gasp every time she licks it. We continue sharing each other's bodies until we feel asleep.

I move my body slowly as I watch her sleeping peacefully. I grabbed the blanket to cover up her body. I couldn’t move because she’s still lying in my arms. I took her away slowly, and I stood up to grab my clothes. I went to the kitchen to make coffee.

“You’re awake.” I said when I saw her walking toward me. “Yeah.” I offered her a mug of coffee. “Have a drink.” We sat on the couch when my phone rang. I answered the call when I saw it was Cassandra who was calling.

“Hey, baby.” I said as I brushed her hair as she lay in my lap. “How are you now?” she asked. “I’m fine. I recovered from trying to fly yesterday. How about you?” “I’m doing work right now. I make myself busy, so I can focus on it since I really miss you now.” “I miss you too.” I watch her as she looks at me while talking to Cassandra. “Okay, maybe you still have work to do. I must not take you long enough to call.” “Yeah, I have, but it doesn’t matter,” she said. “Okay, as you wish. What do you want to talk about?” I asked. I watch her as she gets up from my lap. She gave me a sign that she would just get something to eat. I nodded for approval. “Don’t you have work today?” she asked. “I have. My call time will be in the afternoon, so I can still rest while waiting for my call time.” “I see. You really need to rest, Zack.” “Yeah.” “I’ll call you later. Just rest there for a while.” She said, “No, it’s fine. Nothing comes before you.” “It’s fine, really. I understand you, besides, I have a meeting in a minute.” “Okay. Enjoy your day, baby. I love you.” “I love you too.” She hung up the call.
