Serena's POV
Nero had someone drive me home from his house. I didn't see him around the house. He was avoiding him, and I couldn't blame him.
I thought I imagined him cuddling me in bed, but he had never done that before. Why would he start then? I knew I was hoping for things that would never happen.
Before I left, I was served breakfast in bed, and then someone brought clothes for me. I asked about Elise, and I was told that she had been sent back to Italy. I had to hand it to her. She said she would make sure Nero and I didn't last, and she followed through.
