Serena's POV
Nero took me to Rome. I barely had enough time to tell Lily I was leaving. She asked me if I was sure of my decision, and I told her yes. The truth was that Nero didn't give me a choice. If he wanted me to go to Italy, he made sure I went.
"You can't expect me to go everywhere with you, Nero. It doesn't make sense for you to make me go wherever you want me to go."
"I can. I wanted to bring you to my home so you can see where I come from." He answered.
His reasons didn't make sense. There was the threat of a fiancé looming over our heads and danger everywhere. There was someone who wanted to kill anyone who even got close to answers on what happened to my parents.
A lot was going on. Going to Italy was not the smartest idea.
