We bring Ashcroft to the conference room because it is the most defensible interior space we have established and because Dr. Calloway needs to look at the burn on her side and Ashcroft is not going to accept treatment in a corridor.
She sits at the table while Dr. Calloway works and she tells us what happened in the basement with the specific precise delivery of someone giving a report rather than a confession, stripping the emotion out of it because the emotion is there and she knows it and she has decided it is not useful right now.
