Draven's POV I call the meeting at seven in the morning in the small conference room off the east corridor that the combat instructors use for tactical reviews. It has one door, no windows accessible from the hallway, and seats six people comfortably. I choose it because comfort is not the goal and the absence of windows means nobody passing in the corridor can see who is inside. Kai arrives first, followed by Maya with her research, followed by Marcus with coffee that nobody asked for and everyone takes.
