Silence.
Droplets of water dripped from the ceiling. The hallway was quiet. Cobwebs had claimed their territory on the broken and dusty walls.
In the embrace of deep darkness, lurked a hooded cloaked shadow who came alive at night. His body rested in the dark, where his next target slept peacefully. His face twisted in a sadistic smirk behind his mask. His body itched to move but he had to stay on his feet since he loved his preys alive when he brutally killed them.
Soon enough his prey wiggled from his sleep and checked his phone which was placed on his bedside, oblivious to the fact that his death was standing right infront of him.
The predator's deadly eyes followed his every movement. His destructive and toxic personality had came to haunt the loathsome prey down.
The guy stood on his feet and looked around him. His body resonated in an uneasy feeling. The air was dense around him. He knew something was wrong. His gut feeling telling him to run faraway but he stood still frozen. His back now facing his soon be killer.
Within moments, he was tossed on the other side of the bed like a rag doll. His head collided with wooden table, causing him to groan out loud from agony. He looked up to see the person but he couldn't since his face since it was covered in a black cloth along with his body. "What do you n-need from me?" his pain filled voice ringed within the room. The killer looked at him, as if he was the most interesting man ever. Picking him up by his collar, he looked dead straight in his orbs. The guy shivered. The menacing look in his eyes conveyed the unsaid answer to him.
His empty, lifeless eyes was filled with a baleful stare. "Leave m-me" the man pleaded but the killer had some other plans for him. Throwing him on the bed by force, he bounced from the impact. Coming beside his body he sat down. His clothed hand tightly gripped the guy's throat causing his air supply to cut off. The man tried to yank his hand away but he failed.
Within seconds his other hand gripped the silver dragger from his waistband and stabbed his cheek causing him to scream out. The hopeless guy scratched his hand but he didn't bulge. Retracting his dragger back, he traced his jawline with the bloodied silver. Loosing the grip on his throat he gripped his hair instead, yanking his head back. It felt as if someone had plucked his hair out.
He wanted his blood to be stained in every corner of this house. He wanted him to suffer miserably.
He examined his victim carefully, almost tenderly. The intense blood pull, brought his hand closer to his skin just a few inches away. His hidden demons stirred within him to come out.
Placing the dragger right above his heart, he looked at his victim for the last time. His face smeared with strained tears, eyes filled with fear, lips quivering as he tried to speak but his voice gave away. Pushing the sharp silver down slowly he roughly twisted it making him squirm underneath his dominating yet terrifying figure.
"N-NO --" but before he could say something else, the tormenter had engraved his dragger within his heart deep down. Blood oozed out and some splashed on his forehead but he never stopped his act. His mouth agape. Screams filled the room which was like a melody to the killer's ears.
Hours and hours had passed and finally the killer had left the satisfying scene.
There the prey layed in his own pool of dark crimson blood. His skin was teared apart. Some of the organs were missing. His eyes were open wide while his mouth was sill agape, drool stained on his chin. Droplets of blood dripped down his body bit by bit causing the air to have a metallic taste of his misery.
He never left his victims without a gift. A gift that told people not to mess with the killer.
The victims left hand was stabbed by the dragger in between the carved star. The star was his mark. His gift to the victim. His way of pleasing the victim who was tormented.
His way of showing mercy. His way of embedding the demons within the tainted skin.
