Chapter 6 As Michael pulled his ancient Land Cruiser into the driveway of the Whitcomb house, Audrey reflected it would be hard to tell that a film crew had even been there earlier in the day. All of the cars were gone, and it looked as though both the driveway and the paths leading from it had been carefully swept. Possibly the support crew wasn’t as affected by the negative energies in the house as she had been, or maybe they’d been relatively safe because they hadn’t actually gone inside. Now, with the sun out, the place looked serene enough, front lawn green and smooth under the blue sky, the palm trees that edged the grass rustling faintly in the breeze.
