15 Life at the Sanctuary continued in both an unexpectant and monotonous way. There was our daily routine that consisted of the same tasks and then there was the element of surprise that turned every day into an adventure. Despite our differences, Aaron, Felicity, and I worked well together and under Nissan’s supervision, we had the unicorn house running smoothly. The long hours left little time for a personal life but I managed to cultivate some friendships, although my calls with Tina suffered. The night of the first party wasn’t the only time we missed each other and it wasn’t the last. The more days passed, the less time we seemed to have for each other.
