After Jun-Jun took her sweet time eating her treats, she finally made it over to the fence to say hello to Sticker. The colt trampled his hooves excitedly, eager to see another unicorn. Considering they were herd animals, the loneliness must've made it extra hard for him.
"There you go. Come on, Jun-Jun," Felicity muttered under her breath. Her eyes were locked on the unfolding scene and her nose was wrinkled in concentration.
She looked kind of cute like that.
I drew my attention away from the other girl and back to the meeting unicorns. They were gingerly sniffing each other through the fence, the gentleness a very promising start. If all the meetings went like this, we'd have a happy herd in no time.
