6 One of the things I still needed to get used to was the communal aspect of shared living. The kitchen was buzzing with the other interns, some of whom I didn’t even recognise. A couple of girls were grouped around the island but most of the people seemed to be having quick breakfast on their own. At least I felt better about not being the only one that just managed a bowl of cereal. I spotted Aaron on the couch with a girl I didn’t know, but no Felicity. Nice. That meant I could eat my breakfast in peace. Life was better without Miss Perfect and her know-it-all attitude. Within seconds, I devoured my cereal and got going for our first morning meeting.
