The winter wind howled through the trees as Zach stood frozen on the porch. The hooded figure was gone. Only fresh snow covered the road. No footprints. No tire tracks. Nothing. His instincts, the ones that had saved his life more than once, told him this wasn’t over. Someone had come to deliver a message.
