The warehouse fell silent. Emily stared at the tiny silver bracelet lying in the gift box. Her hands instinctively covered her stomach. The baby shifted beneath her palm, almost as if sensing her fear. Zach stepped in front of her without thinking. No one was getting near his wife. No one was getting near their child.
