Chapter 43: The cabin plunged into darkness. Broken glass scattered across the wooden floor. Emily lay beside the fireplace, her ears ringing from the gunshot. “Grace!” “I’m here.” Grace’s voice came from somewhere to her left. Another bullet tore through the wall. BANG!
