The atmosphere inside Ramos’ mansion had turned oppressive. Servants walked quietly through the halls, careful not to make unnecessary noise. Everyone knew one thing. Their master was angry. Very angry. In the private study, Ramos stood before the floor-to-ceiling windows, a cigar burning slowly between his fingers. His expression was calm, but the silence surrounding him was far more frightening than shouting.
