Alex’s POV.
I gazed at Evelyn's picture, my fingers drumming against my desk as I twirled my pen. It was only a matter of time before I achieved my plan and Evelyn is important to its success.
That's why I made sure she survived that accident. If anyone could kill her, it was me. I'd been watching her every move since she ruined my life.
I knew everything about her - her marriage, her happiness, her every step.
As I watched her live her life, I seethed with anger. Every day, I suffered because of her mistake.
I wanted revenge, but I waited for the perfect moment to strike. And then, I discovered that her husband was trying to kill her.
I had my secretary inform Evelyn that her husband was trying to kill her, but she was already in the car and got into an accident. Luc
