I couldn’t sleep as I tossed around my bed, what do Uncle Sebastian mean by saying we”ll go see the Alpha tomorrow?
I didn’t know what to expect and it made me feel uneasy. Alpha Dean the most handsome man in the whole of the Bloodmoon pack. He is a blazing ball of hotness and sexiness. Several ladies threw themselves at him even though he is known to be cruel and ruthless. The only issue he had is he hasn’t found his mate just yet, he had passed the pairing of mate age and had given up on finding his mate. So he just views women as an object of s****l gratification.
I wonder how women still flock all over him knowing he is just using them to satisfy himself. I can’t seem to place my fingers around what connection we had and I hope to find answers tomorrow.
My eyes soon grew heavy and I slept off.

Raven! Wake up. My uncle’s voice resounded in my room, making me jerk out of my bed quickly.
Melody is here, her wheezy voice can be heard from the parlour as she seems to be having a conversation with Aunt Kate.
I quickly hurried into the bathroom to take my bathe, as the water landed on my body it felt like an electric went through my body. I stopped for some time as I scooped some water and poured some on my feet, I was completely fine.
Maybe my body is recovering from the fight I had the rogue the previous night. I brushed my teeth and put on a bright blue gown and I rushed to meet Melody.
“Look who finally decided to show up! I teased as Melody turned to look at me.
“Oh dear, happy birthday in array.” I was so busy yesterday I couldn’t drop by to wish you a happy birthday.
“Oh save it. Just have it at the back of your mind that I would retaliate. I would completely ignore you on your birthday.
“Sorry Raven.. I am so sorry. I promise it won’t happen again.
Uncle Sebastian and his wife left to meet the Alpha even though they had lied to me they were going somewhere else. They didn’t know I had eavesdropped on them last night. As they left I pulled Melody to the side and I recounted what had happened last night to her.
“Wait.. are you saying you almost died last night in the forest.
“I think the rogue was trying to protect the tree. Do you mind for some tea?” I asked her as I strolled to the kitchen.
“Ofcourse I do!” Melody replied.
I grabbed two glass cups from the cupboard and even though my grip was tight, they slipped out of my hands and hit the ground, breaking into several pieces.
Melody screamed out as I lifted my hands to protect my face as the glass shards erupted and flew past me, and they froze in the air.
“Did you see that?” I asked in shock.
“What the hell is happening Raven! Stop doing that you are scaring me.”
“It’s not me. I can’t control it, fear sets in as I started to panick.
“What the hell… Melody held my hands and pulled me away from the kitchen the glass shards dropped from the air and shattered into several pieces on the floor.
I couldn’t say a word as we both stared at each other in shock.
Something is wrong with me and I don’t what it’s.
Few hours later Uncle Sebastian and his wife came home, Melody had left after we had cleaned up the pieces of glass. Their face wore a gloomy look as I wondered what’s wrong.
“I will speak to her.” Aunt Kate said slowly as Uncle Sebastian made his way into his room.
“Raven, I have something to tell you.”She started my heart pounded against my chest as I wondered what she had to say to me.
“So you are going to be the Alpha’s bride. As the words left her mouth my heart beat increased I felt like my chest would bust apart.
“I don’t seem to understand Aunt Kate.” I gulped loudly as my hands were trembling.
“You are going to be Alpha Dean Bride. And tomorrow he is coming to pick you up. I fell to my knees as hot tears rolled down my eyes.
“No.. no please Aunt Kate I don’t want to be Alpha Kade’s bride. Please don’t allow him take me.
“The Alpha would protect you.” I heard Uncle Sebastian say from behind me.
“Protect me?”

We got to the Alpha’s palace and I couldn’t how big the palace is, it looked like a castle. We made our way inside and a maid guided us to his meeting room. We waited for him to arrive.
I was curious to know what connection I had with Alpha Dean and why Uncle Sebastian had said he would protect me.
The Alpha made his way in and when my eyes landed on him, I saw that people were lying he is really the finest man in the Bloodmoon pack. His dark black hair were neatly styled and trimmed and he wore a white cloak.
“Raven.” He called out my name before sitting down.
“Yes Alpha.” I replied.
“How are you doing? I heard about the attack yesterday. I hope you didn’t get hurt by that beast.”
“I am fine Alpha thank you. Thankfully I was able to defend myself from the rogue.” Alpha Dean didn’t seem to be the cruel and ruthless like everyone had said.
“Don’t tell me you are like him?” Scarlet said inside my head.
“No, no I don’t ! He is just you know handsome.
“Hmm…. I agree he do have a nice smile.” Scarlet blushed.
“Focus! I don’t still know why we are here.”
“So the reason I asked them to bring you over is because you have been sold to me.
As the words left his mouth my heart pounded against my chest.
“What?! I looked over to Uncle Sebastian and Aunt Monica. Their eyes were fixed on the Alpha.
“Uncle Sebastian! I don’t understand.
“Raven let him speak! He shunned me.
“As I was saying, you are going to be my newest bride Raven.”
This can’t be happening, why would Uncle Sebastian do this to me? He can’t betray me like this.
“I can’t! I can’t be your bride.” I said to him, his dark eyes piercing into mine.
“You don’t have a choice, you have already been sold to me. You belong to me now.” He roared.
