The morning commute to work every day was the worst Zeenia ever experienced. In Manhattan, the trains were rarely so packed like they were in Michigan. And also in Manhattan, she had a car, which she left behind due to logistics. Here in Michigan, she was at the whims of public transportation if she didn't live within walking distance of work. Since moving into an apartment a couple of weeks ago, Zeenia didn't have such luxuries. So she hustled herself into the subway each and every morning, mumbling about how she was always traveling in the early morning rush, shoulder to shoulder with other salaried workers, even though she lived just four stops away.
