Sally POV
“Damn babe, you look hot!” Avery squealed.
We were in Avery’s room in the packhouse. She helped me get ready for my date with Elijah. Avery had curled my long hair and put on some makeup. She had put on a soft eyeshadow and a winged eyeliner that made my green eyes pop. She also used some blush and highlighter to accentuate my cheekbones and finished with a dark red lip pen and some light lip gloss. When I looked at my reflection in the mirror I barely recognised myself.
“Girl, you are an artist.” I gasped.
Avery chuckled.
“Oh please, you are beautiful even without the makeup. It’s hard to create beauty, but really easy to accentuate when it’s already there.” She shrugged. “I saw it on the first day you got here. You are a badass and you look great.”
