“Why did you kiss Cali?” Charlotte was shocked when Aaron came home and kissed me full on the lips. I was shocked, too, as I was not expecting him to do it in front of his mom and niece.
“Because Cali is special to me.” He crouched down to her level then gently pinched his niece’s plump cheeks.
“Like a princess to her prince?” Charlotte then looked excited. Sherie looked amused at the strange conversation her son and granddaughter were having.
“Yes, like that.”
