I wake up pretty early, and I’m a tangle of limbs with Lucas. I can’t help but to smile as I slowly try to untangle myself from Lucas the octopus. I swear every time I get one thing loose, something else is trapped. As I’m finally about to free my leg, Lucas starts to stir and grabs me, pulling me back into his chest and snuggles into me.
I laugh and keep trying to squirm my way out, eventually giving up and kissing his forehead.
“Lucas let me go! I need to pee!” I try my best to sound unhappy, but I can’t hide the giant smile on my face.
